Masterbatch
	We can offer polymer specific masterbatches or supply a universal carrier. The MFI of the carrier is custom designed to ensure speedy total distribution and dispersion without adversly affecting the inherent physical properties of your polymer or product. We will process orders ranging between 5 Kg and 10,000 Kgs

Compound
	With our technical expertise and flexibilty of plant, we are capable of processing the most demanding Speciality Compounds

Additives
	We can offer a wide range of additive masterbatches produced in house including :- UV, Anti-Static, Slip agent, Anti-Block, Nucleating, Anti-Oxidant, Molybdenum Disulphide, Blowing agents and Mould release masterbatches are all available for extrusion, injection or blow moulding processes.

Blending
	If you are looking to move from Compounds to Masterbatch but do not wish to purchase dosing equipment, or you are looking to dose more ingredients than you have feeders for, our blending service offers an ideal solution. We can blend an infinite number of masterbatches, additives or polymers and supply ready for use.

Thermochromic
	Thermochromic colours are products which change in shade under the influence of temperature. Usually changing from colour to colour or colour to clear. At Begg & Co. we have developed a new range of thermochromics and can customise both the activation temperature and design the shades available (within the limitations of the thermochromic pigments). We can supply masterbatches for use in PVC, EVA, TPE, TPU, LDPE, HDPE, PP and PS.

Photochromics
	Photochromic colours are two phase colours which are activated by UV light. Typically changing from transparent pastel shades to intense Reds, Greens, Violets, Yellows, Oranges and Blues. Other colourants can be used in conjunction with these products to give additional shades and effects.

Security / Traceability
	At Begg & Co. we offer a wide range of security / traceability markers to help protect your investment and brand integrity.

Fragrances
	Whether it is to neutralise the smell of your process or to add effect to your products, we have something to offer. We carry fragrances that act as animal / insect repellents and can mimic the scent of just about anything natural or man made.

Conductivity
	We are able to offer a range of non-black conductive colours. These can be solid or metallic and the shade ranges between light grey to vibrant greens, reds, blues etc. We can supply either as a masterbatch or compound depending upon the final application

Pearlescent / multi Angle
	With the requirement to make products look less plastic and to give a feel of added value or quality, the use of pearlescents has grown rapidly over the last few years to the point whereby many people would no longer view them as a special effect Pearlescents can carry inherent processing problems such as flow lines, you can pay a premium for the effect and some colourmatchers struggle to achieve accurate, non-metameric matches. At Begg & Co.we have extensive experience in matching pearlescents for the cosmetics, automotive,packaging and housewares markets. We carry the widest possible range of raw materials to ensure we select the right product to reduce or remove metamerism. We can offer solutions to help hide or reduce flow lines and from our years of experience we know the best pigment combinations to give maximum effect for least possible cost.

Nightglows
	The use of these products is typically limited to promotional goods, children's toys or safety signs where visibility of the product in the dark is necessary, usually limited to one colour, Green. We can still offer that same Green, but we can also offer additional shades of Pinky Red, Pastel Blue, Orange and Yellow.

IR / Heat reflectors
	We can supply a varied range of Infra Red reflectors. These are products which allow sunlight to pass through them but reflect the IR frequency that carries heat so products remain cool.
